Junior Church

Here at St John’s we have an active and welcoming Junior Church as part of our 11:15 Sunday service. We are lucky to have a thriving community with lots of children attending church and enjoying our Junior Church sessions.

Our Junior Church leaders run two sessions during the service, one for older children and one for pre-school/reception aged children. Junior Church runs alongside our usual service and children explore themes from the service in creative and interactive ways. The groups re-join us towards the end of the service and it is always a pleasure to hear what they’ve been up to.

On the first Sunday of every month we hold our All-Age service which is a service aimed at the younger members of our congregation. There are always plenty of opportunities to get involved, activities for the children and plenty of noise and laughter.
