Music at St John’s

Music is an important part of our community here at St John’s. We enjoy music as part of our weekly services as we join together in worship, to listen to during times of reflection and to bring us together through our weekly choir practices for both children and adults.

You can enjoy music with us by joining us at our 11:15 am Sunday service, by attending one of our reflective services that includes music, such as our Healing Service, or by joining our choir! We also have special services at festival times such as Nine Lessons and Carols, which are focused around music.

St John’s Choir

We have two choirs running at St John’s. Our Children’s Choir is in partnership with St John’s Primary School for children attending the school.

Our adult choir is open to everyone, all faiths and none, who enjoy coming together through music. We sing a range of music, both traditional and contemporary, and no experience is needed.

If you’d like to join our adult choir, you can contact our Director of Music, Faith Taylor, on directorofmusic.stjohnsn20@gmail.com
